Chennai, inculcates a spirit of learning

started Panimalar Engineering College
in the year 2000 is in accordance
with the general policy of the Government
of Tamilnadu. The policy emphasizes
to give high priority to meet the
demand for trained engineers for various
industrial and development projects
in the state of Tamilnadu and the
rest of India.

The Panimalar Engineering College
was established in 2000 by our Chairman
Dr. Jeppiaar M.A, B.L, Ph.D., Chancellor,
Sathyabama Deemed University to spread
the wings of knowledge to the community
of students. Ever since, the college
has witnessed significant milestones
in the progress of educating students.
It believes that prosperity, endurance
and character go hand in hand. It
provides all the necessary facilities
for the students and expects good
character and excellent results in
return.
Dr. Jeppiaar has dedicated himself
to promoting technical education and
aims to make the Panimalar Engineering
College a model engineering college
that has a disciplined student community.

I am pleased to share with you my
enthusiasm for this college and its
people. Staff and students are all
part of what makes the campus life
and culture unique here. We are proud
of our academic excellence, work force
development and community involvement.
Our college is well connected to
the city by two arterial roads, the
Poonamallee By-Pass and NH-4. Its
location within 15 kms of the city
radius makes it one of the few colleges
situated very close to the city. The
buildings are spread over a vast area
of beautifully landscaped surroundings.
The picturesque complex of the college
presents a scenic beauty of lush carpeted
greenery, and aesthetically pleasing
structures, to provide a conducive
ambience for in-depth academic activities.
